2 Chainz is definitely a jack of all trades. He dabs with Santa and can make a killer album alongside Lil Wayne (See: ColleGrove). And now the Atlanta rapper has taken upon becoming a political analyst. He recently stopped by The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore, and explained the national republican convention on the second installment of his “2 Chainz Explainz” segment.
Clad in a fierce fur vest with a Supreme sweatshirt underneath coupled with a red hat, he explained what a ‘brokered convention’ really is.
“Hi, I’m 2 Chainz,” he began. “And a brokered convention goes down when no single candidate has the 237 delegate votes needed to win the Republican nomination. Now, when it happens, the convention goes ham!”
He also explained how many times each party required voting. “They don’t care who you voting for the first time around, now that’s gangster right there…they just keep voting, and voting,” he said of the republican party.
