After coming out the Soundcloud shadows as 24hrs, the Atlanta artist is ready to release his debut album, Houses on the Hill.
Combining the sounds of hip-hop and R&B, 24hrs teeter-tooters between the two genres to create the signature blend of cultures that has made its way through mainstream music. The artist, formally known as Royce Rizzy, began dropping music anonymously under the moniker, releasing projects like 12am in Atlanta, Night Shift and Not Open Late. For his debut, the artist has tapped friends and collaborators like Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Vic Mensa, Dom Kennedy and more for the 14-track LP.
Leading the album is the catchy single “Met Gala” featuring PnB Rock. Starting off the three-minute track, the two combine forces to tackle the catchy chorus together singing ” Caught me slippin’, dressin’ like the Met Gala (Met)/But you wouldn’t know what to do with it/All this money, you wouldn’t know what to do with it/You don’t know what to do with it/I’ll let you hold it, you wouldn’t know what to do with it/You wouldn’t know what to do with it.”

After wrapping up their joint melody, the 27-year-old heads off the track with a verse tailored toward designer clothes and beautiful women. Passing the mic to the “Gang Up” rapper, Pnb Rock comes in for his first solo verse on the 3-minute track. Before the song reaches an end, the two MCs play off each other to hype the track to a conclusion.
The album is expected to hit streaming platforms Friday (Nov. 16).
