50 Cent is giving back to the community of Ferguson, Mo. in a major way.
The Queens rapper announced his donation of $5,000.50 to the St. Louis Area Food Bank, FOX 2 Now reports, which was also backed by Major Brands, the United Way of Greater St. Louis and Beam Suntory.
“For me to be a part of it is the right thing for me,” he said. “It makes me feel better. Today I know I did something that was a good thing, positive.” In response to the lack of media coverage on this event, Fifty took to his Instagram account to reveal his opinion on the matters:
“Good morning I just want to give you a example of how things are for me. Anything negative go’s every were, do something positive and crickets. Smh.”
