50 Cent and Fun Flex are taking shots at Dame Dash and Nick Cannon after the two shared a clip from a recent podcast session in which they were discussing Jay-Z and his business back in the day.
It all started when Cannon questioned Dame about Foxy Brown’s age at the time she was first signed to Def Jam in 2005 when Hov was the president and CEO of the label.
“I wasn’t paying attention to Foxy Brown. I didn’t sign Foxy Brown. Stop putting me in that. You keep asking like I’m on the block, I’m responsible for everybody. I don’t know nothing about that.” Dame responded to Cannon’s question. “Don’t beat around the bush. What are you insinuating? It seems like you got a question for Jay.”
After the interview aired, 50 Cent and Funk Flex swooped in to Jay’s defense. “Dame is a real sucker for this, trying to get Jay jammed up. Smh,” 50 wrote.
Funk Flex later chimed in agreeing with Fif: “2 Grown men giggling like b***hes concerned about Jay-Z and who he touching! Nick always commenting on a man chick… But can’t keep his chick! Dame intern/wife took all his s**t. Y’all 2 are a f**king disgrace from my era,” he added.
Taking note of their reactions, Nick responded. “Ha!! That’s what you got out of that big Homey??? Interesting! I was taught Solid recognize Solid and sucks recognize suckers… Let’s talk about it,” he wrote.
Funk Flex came back with a rebuttal one last time, suggesting Foxy has always lied about her age to push her career ahead. “What the next man d**k got to do with y’all,” he added. “FOXY smart and always wanted to get ahead and always lied about her age. I remember because for awhile she couldn’t get in the tunnel! She never told the truth about her age!”
The back and forth comes briefly after Dame stated that he felt betrayed by Jay-Z after the Roc Nation mogul decided to work with R. Kelly despite being friends with Aaliyah (whom was married to the singer when she was 15 years old) and hearing about the allegations of sexual abuse.
