In light of 50 Cent’s bankruptcy case, the rapper is coming clean on a couple of “white lies” he told in regards to his financial situation. Earlier this week, 50 revealed that the money, cars, and jewels he so openly flaunts on social media was either counterfeit or rented. And now he has added another major property to the list, admitting that he never owned a mansion in Africa, according to TMZ.
Back in September 2015, 50 posted a picture on Instagram (which has since been deleted) of a luxurious home in Africa, fitted with a pool and overlooking balcony. The caption read: “My crib is almost finished in AFRICA. I’m gonna have the craziest House warming party ever.”
The lie detector later determined that was a lie. In court documents the rapper stated, “I do not, nor have I ever owned, any real property in Africa.”
50 is trying to prove to the court and creditors that he is not hiding assets. He has previously stated that he only continues to post pictures that make it seem like he lives a luxurious, carefree lifestyle. So we’re sure there are a couple more things 50 will have to come clean on as the case progresses.
