Sure, 50 Cent is a talented artist and businessman, but the G-Unit general may also have a future in the news business. The “How We Do” rapper took part in a live Q&A session where fans got to ask him questions. One cat let out of the bag was that 50 has teamed back up with Eminem for his upcoming Street King Immortal album.
Peep some highlights from the Q&A below.
On what he’s be doing if he wasn’t a rapper:
”I’d like to do marketing. If I wasn’t a part of the music scene, I’d still like to be a part of marketing.”
On the rappers from Queens he looked up to and would like to collaborate with:
“Run DMC, Jam Master J was my mentor. Nas is a big influence. The whole Juice crew.”
On having any celebrity crushes and describing the his perfect woman:
“Celebrity crushes change. You’ll have a moment when you go ‘wow, she looks hot.’ When you see them onscreen, it’s different. Then you see them in person and it’s different. When you see a woman just walking around and she’s hot, she’s really hot. When you see a celebrity at a party dressed up, you know there’s a whole process that goes into looking like that. “

On the most difficult challenge that comes with being an entrepreneur:
“The toughest thing is being a good judge of character with the people you’re dealing with. You pick the smartest guys at the top of Fortune 500 companies and ask them where they took their biggest losses, and they’ll say their biggest losses would be marriage. Because it’s an investment in not being a good judge of character.”
On when his new album is coming out:
“I’m going to release a date shortly but it’s definitely coming out. I pushed it back to release the G-Unit EPs: The Beauty and Beast. It’s just now the focus on completing the record for me.”
On what his favorite city to perform in America is:
“New York. It’s just that the energy is different. When you’re not together in New York, it can be the worst place for you. But when your presentation is right, this is the place where you want to stretch your stuff.”
On if he will do a song with Eminem ever again:
“Yeah, he got a new song together on my new album. So you’ll get a chance to hear that shortly.”
On where his relationship with Chelsea Handler stands:
“Me and Chelsea are good friends. In one word – Gator. I call her Gator. It’s sexual, like wrestling an alligator.”
