They say you have no real friends in the music industry, just partners and associates. For G-Unit’s founder, the game is all about using and maneuvering. Fiddy talked about the extent of the relationship he shares with Jay-Z.
“We don’t have those kinds of relationships. These people are people I associate with. We are in the same business. We are not necessarily friends. We don’t call each other for no reason,” he explained. “It’s not like we have something against each other to make us enemies,” Fiddy continued. “Me and Jay[-Z] will use each other. Repeatedly. For energy.”
