According to Variety, cinema company Cheetah Vision Films, of which 50 is a partner, has formed an alliance with Action Jackson Films’ founder Richard Jackson (no relation to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), in a yearly multi-film deal. 50 and Jackson reportedly met one another during a card game in Las Vegas.
The first film Jackson will finance is tentatively titled The Gun and besides Kilmer’s high-profile presence and a co-starring role played by 50 himself, veteran music video director Jesse Terro has been tapped to direct.
The movie’s plot centers around 50 and Kilmer’s friendship being put at stake because of a lifestyle that involves illegal gun dealing. The film will be executive produced by Chris Lighty, Justin Holochek and Richard Rhionda.
