Following Jay-Z’s announcement of signing The X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd, G-Unit CEO 50 Cent may have also tapped into the overseas talent pool.
Sources are reporting that the mogul’s latest signing to his newly formed label G-Note Records is former The X-Factor reject Gamu Nhengu.
Under the moniker Miss Gamuchirai, the Zimbabwe-born singer is rumored to be a new addition to the G-Note family.
“Miss Gamuchirai has been singed to 50 Cent’s new record label G-Note,” Micro Blog Buzz reports.
The website also claims that Gamu was forced to wait until her contract with The X Factor expired before she could sign.
“It is believed that many labels have been interested in signing Gamu but G-Note offered the best deal and are best connected to make her dreams reality.”
At press time 50 Cent still had not confirmed the signing.
