Last week, the Internet got a preview of 50 Cent’s son’s basketball skills. Marquise Jackson, 18, showed off his shot range in a mixtape reel, which was hightlighted by SLAM. Averaging 19 points a game, Jackson is now looking to receive college scholarship offers. In a recent interview with TMZ, he discussed his hoop dreams as well as the prospect of rapping like his dad.
“It’s a blessing, man. I pray for stuff like this,” Jackosn said. “I’m just happy I’m able to play ball and do something I love.”

When asked if he could take 50 Cent on the court, the younger Jackson confidently said he would beat his father 13-0. He also discussed whether or not he wanted to be a rapper, stating that he’d rather play ball. Jackson also gave props to Floyd Mayweather, with whom he has a close relationship.
“He hasn’t given me any tips,” Jackson said of Mayweather. “But just seeing him work, his work ethic is motivation for me. I really pay attention to what he does in the boxing ring. It’s really inspiration for me. To see somebody have such a work ethic as his is just insane to me.”
