Despite the mess he continually finds himself in, rainbow-haired rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine found a new way to get on the public’s good side. This past weekend (Sept. 1), the “FEFE” collaborator received a call that Franklin, a five-year-old boy with terminal brain cancer, requested his company. 6ix9ine couldn’t say no to the touching invitation.
He took to his Instagram to detail the good deed. “Yesterday I received a call after my performance… That a human being last wish was to meet me… it’s nothing I can write to make it hit deeper then what it is,” he wrote. “I fell in love with this kid in seconds. Yesterday we took the time to get to know each other, play games, sing.. We ate, laughed, and learned a lot.”
After he spent some quality time with Franklin, he paid it forward in the most literal sense. He paid the family’s rent for an entire year so that they can focus any and all financial efforts towards their son.
How nice. And to top it all off, he’s asking that his fans and followers also donate to a GoFundMe to assist with continued medical funds the child’s family will have. Keep paying it forward.
