Harlem’s own A$AP Mob have hip-hop heads impatiently waiting on their forthcoming New York dipped in boom-bap street-hop. Now that the much anticipated Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 is complete, the Uptown crew is ready to unleash their new material to the world.
This week, Rocky and Nast linked with Skepta for their newest singles and mini-film, “Money Man” and “Put That On My Set.” Directed by AWGE’s Dexter Navy and Flacko, the clip follows a drug kingpin, Rocky and his love interest through London’s underworld.
Rocky’s love interest is the kingpin’s sister, and he grows highly upset after discovering that Rocky has cuffed his alluring sibling, because she has aspirations of escaping her dead-end city. However, as the video unfolds, Rocky’s girl meets an early death.
Recently, Rocky, Twelvyy and Key! released “Crazy Brazy.” There is no release date for Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, but we trust that it’ll be here soon.
In the meantime, peep “Money Man/Put That On My Set” here.
