Love can be a very complicated and unpredictable thing. Sometimes it can be good. Other times, not so much. In the eyes of singer Aaron Camper, love can be very much like war, better yet “Guns and Roses.”
Camper – who you may have seen offering his vocal talent to the likes of Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake and more on stages across the world – is no stranger to the music industry. Hailing from the small Maryland town of Salisbury, the Grammy-nominated musician grew up as one of the talented son of a preacher. And although he caught the attention of many college basketball scouts while he played competitively in high school as a point guard, Aaron decided to follow and trust his musical heart and continue to sing and play the drums and guitar.
“[My music is] nothing contrived, just infectious, raw, energetic, good music.”
After honing his artistry by singing for gospel music’s finest, Tye Tribbett, and penning a catalogue of songs for the likes of David Guetta, Diddy and BJ the Chicago Kid, the seasoned musician is taking all that he has learned and stepping out into his own. After teasing followers with songs like “Madness,” “Choose You,” and recently debuting the official visuals for his well-received record, “Hypnotizing,” Camper has been busy crossing the T’s and crossing the I’s on his forthcoming LP entitled Blow.
Spin his newest record, “Guns and Roses,” produced by Luke Witherspoon and NSFR (No Sleep for Robots), down below, then get into his other track and music video for “Hypnotizing.” You can now pre-order Blow on iTunes, which drops on November 18th.
