Queens is home to plenty of veterans in hip-hop, and Aaron Knight knows every move and characteristic necessary to live the Big Apple lifestyle. Growing up in Sunnyside, Queens, Knight traded his passion for shooting hoops on the court for the art of making music. Since he was 17, Knight has been mixing his knack for poetry writer with rapping, singing and harmonizing over beats that tap into elements of hip-hop, pop, trap, and new age R&B.
“I was in the studio and I told my engineer I been doing this music thing since I was 17 and now I feel like a OG,” Knight said about his new song. “But in all reality I ain’t even a 90s kid !!”
The Queens spitter really feels like an “OG” in the game. On his debut single, Knight describes his personality and how he relates to every O.G. that he has come up with over the years. With his dynamic sound and ability to appease fans of Trap & B and hip-hop, it’s safe to say Aaron Knight’s OG status may last for awhile.
