Good news TDE fans. Ab-Soul’s forthcoming album DWTW is only days away, and to commemorate the new album release after months of delays, the TDE artist released the tracklist on Twitter on Tuesday (Dec. 6), featuring a lot of familiar names.
Of course it was only right that Ab-Soul bring in some of his label mates on the record. According to the image posted online, the rapper collaborated with Schoolboy Q and SZA on tracks called “Beat the Case” and “Lonely Soul.” He also lends feature credits to Mac Miller, Rhapsody, and Dreamville’s Bas. Ahead of the album’s debut, Ab-Soul released “Huey Knew,” “Braille,” and “Threatening Nature,” which was released earlier in the month when he announced the album.

Fans are probably relieved to see concrete evidence of an album, after the ring-around Ab-Soul created earlier in the year. In Nov. 2016, TDE’s founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith suggested the album may never come, blaming his artist for the hold up. But thankfully, it seems like Ab-Soul finally got it together.
DWTW will polish off an already busy year for the TDE label. Its release follows projects from Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, and Lance Skiiwalker. Unfortunately, the culture may never get ahold of a SZA project, seeing how the singer hinted at a change in profession after what sounds like a disagreement in musical direction. But soon enough, fans will be able to hold onto something from Ab-Soul, which should suffice for the time being. DWTW will arrive this Friday (Dec. 9).
