Ace Hood is gunning to drop a new project this November, and in celebration of his Body Bag 4 release, the rapper also revealed a new freestyle, “Married to the Game,” and the tape’s album art.
On Ace’s latest single, he raps over a distinct trap beat. As the track progresses, the Florida native addresses the recent death of Shawty Lo, referring to him as a legend of Bankhead. He also seems to address the current social issues of black killing across the nation. “Black man got to dig a grave / They just let the cops get away / Damn shame, but the time change/ Nowadays, n***as shoot back / I feel like I’m livin’ in combat,” he raps.
“Married to the Game” will be on Ace Hood’s forthcoming Body Bag 4 tape, which will also serve as a follow-up to his summer mixtape, Starvation 5. The tape will also include Ace’s previous freestyle, “My Blower,” which he spit over a Future and Esco track. In addition to the new track, the artist also revealed the album art, which shows Ace Hood’s face smothered in plastic.
Body Bag 4 will drop on Nov. 7. But in the meantime check out “Married to the Game” below.
