British songstress Adele might be stepping onto American soil at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime show.
The National Football League reportedly told the British tabloid newspaper The Sun, that they have their eyes set on recruiting the “Hello” singer for their upcoming halftime concert. Reportedly, a source from the NFL stated, “There is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organizers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up. She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.” The insider also added that, “It’s Adele’s nerves that are the issue — it hasn’t been an easy sell.”
Adele is currently on her sold-out world tour to promote and perform her latest chart breaking album, 25. We don’t know as of yet if these Super Bowl rumors are true, but we’re definitely excited. If true, Adele would join the coveted list of top notch artists that have graced the Super Bowl stage like Beyonce and the late Michael Jackson.
