
It’s been one hell of a year for California rapper A-F-R-O (All Flows Reach Out). The budding MC, who was born James Gutierrez, stole the show in VH1’s “The Breaks” earlier this year, and received high praise for his recent mixtape Tales From The Basement. Now, R.A. The Rugged Man’s breakthrough prodigy is ready to make waves this summer with his upcoming joint EP with producer Marco Polo entitled A-F-R-O Polo backed by Duck Down Records.

Yesterday, the 18-year-old L.A. rapper dropped off the first single from the EP, which is set to drop next month. With scratches by Shylow and additional production by Eamon, A-F-R-O sounds off with takes his intermediate rhyming skills to a whole new level over Polo’s piano minor chords, distorted vocals, and hard drums.
