Who says the best things in life aren’t free? Well whoever said it, doesn’t know Alicia Keys. The 15-time Grammy award winner took to Instagram this weekend to announce she’s doing a free show at a surprise location.
On Sunday (Oct. 2) Keys shared a few details with fans about the forthcoming performance. Donning her rambunctious curly hair, bare faced with her big smile, Keys gave fans a head’s up about the show.
On Monday (Oct. 3) she posted a second video of an energy packed performance giving fans a sneak peak of what’s to come, with a caption encouraging people to click on the link in her bio to get a ticket.
Ms. Keys stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning earlier in the summer and revealed her album would drop around late August, and although there’s no record yet, one can assume she’ll be serenading fans with new music at the upcoming show.
The NYC Media and Entertainment offices are sponsoring the free event. The lucky few that secured a ticket will learn the secret location 24hr’s in advance. The show is set to start at 8 p.m. October 9th. Follow this event using the hash tag #AKNY.
