Alicia Keys is a private woman so it’s no surprise the Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter is keeping quiet about the gender of her second child.
Key’s spoke with Billboard.com earlier this week during the launch of her new Givenchy perfume, and while she wouldn’t spill the beans on whether Egypt would be a big brother to a little boy or girl, she did say when the baby would be due.
“Well, I know one thing. I’m having a December baby,” Keys said.
The last time fans musically heard a full-length project from Alicia Keys was in 2012 with her number one album Girl On Fire, while she didn’t mention a release date, Keys–who worked with Pharrell for upcoming project–maintains that this is the best music she’s made yet, and that’s saying a lot.
“What I know for a fact is it’s the best music I’ve ever done in my life yet and it’s really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity,” she said. “The music’s actually pretty much done already and so you’ll be hearing some of it soon.”
