The braids are back, which can only be a good thing.
The expectant mother to be took to her Instagram to tease fans with what could be new music from her upcoming album. In the 15-second clip, Alicia is seen wearing a red hoodie and rocking her trademark braids as she belts out an inspirational anthem.
Keys, a 16-time Grammy award winning artist, (she has 105 awards in total. Get it ‘Licia!) is playing a piano on what appears to be a rooftop with the words love and freedom written across it. While there’s no word on what the name of the song is, or if it will appear on her new project, Keys–who is also acting as an advisor on NBC’s The Voice –recently said her follow up to 2012 ‘Girl On Fire” is almost done.
Well, we here at VIBE are supporters of all things Alicia Keys so as soon as she goes ahead and delivers Egypt’s little brother or sister, we’ll be waiting for some of that new music.
