Is there anything Anderson .Paak can’t do? The all-around musician recently dropped the visuals for his single”Come Down,” from latest album Malibu, and he’s singing, drumming, and grooving with the party at the same damn time.
In the video, Anderson becomes the life of the party, taking his position on stage at the head of the venue. The singer enthusiastically rocks on stage with a live band as party guests happily groove to his tunes. The dim-lit visuals cuts back and forth from .Paak switching from in front of the mic to behind the drums. Singer-songwriter QUIÑ also makes a cameo in the video, jamming to the single on top of a vintage car.
The video’s jam session concludes with artist Ernie Barnes famous painting “Sugar Shack,” which also served as the cover for Marvin Gaye’s I Want You record. A quote also accompanies the image that reads, “an artist paints his own reality.”
“Come Down” is coming from the singer’s sophomore album, Malibu, which was released back in Jan. 2016. Check out the video below.
