After sending the hip-hop community into a whirlwind via Instagram, Anderson .Paak pulls through with new single “Tints” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Produced in collaboration with Om’Mas Keith, .Paak and Lamar joined forces to deliver an upbeat, funk-infused, rap track to lead .Paak’s upcoming album Oxnard.

This is not the first time Lamar and .Paak have collaborated. They both appeared on Dr. Dre’s “Deep Waters” in 2015 and again on “Bloody Waters” off TDE’s Black Panther: The Album, though the two have yet to work together in the studio.
“Everything we’ve done has been over the web,” Paak told Zane Lowe of Beats 1 Radio prior to the track’s premiere. “Some people you can trust to just send it and they gonna send it back and it’s gonna be flames. I just knew that would be the case with him.”
Executively produced by Dr. Dre and Madlib, Oxnard will act as the follow-up to .Paak’s 2016 LP Malibu. With features from Lamar, Pusha T, J. Cole and more, the album is set to be yet another funky installment on .Paak’s growing resume.
