Thursday night’s studio session for Kanye West’s Waves album packed the who’s who in music into one room. A few faces that were identified in the picture include The Dream, Diddy, Kirk Franklin, and 2 Chainz. But one lucky person found their way to the epic meeting of the minds, and it’s thanks to Andre 3000.
Although the ATLien wasn’t present for the main photo-op, he was definitely in the building for Ye’s session. On his way to the event, Mr. Benjamin ordered an Uber, but mistakenly selected Uber Pool, a service where multiple passengers are picked up along the course of your journey. On his way to his destination, the driver picked up a woman who began to have casual conversation with the famed rapper.
According to TMZ, the pair clicked and Andre extended his new friend an invitation to the Waves sesh. The woman met the A-list roster of songwriters, producers and artists including Kid Cudi as well.
This just goes to show when Andre 3000 extends an invitation to attend a studio session with Kanye West, you drop your plans for the day and enjoy a night to remember.
