Anthony Hamilton and The Hamiltones could sing about your account being overdrawn, and while you still might not have any money, the song they create would sound sensational.
In a video posted to YouTube Monday, (December 21) the soul singer and two members of The Hamiltones decided to give 2 Chainz’ “Watch Out” the gospel treatment. While donning Christmas sweaters that show St. Nick dabbin’ The Hamiltones flexed their pipes and turned 2 Chainz’ trap record into one that could be sung at Sunday service. Okay, maybe not Sunday service, more like youth night, but still.
The last time we heard from The Hamiltones, the group revamped Drake’s contagious “Hotline Bling” and gave it a bluesy-backwoods feel that the Internet couldn’t get over.
