When you’re as big as Adele, you grow accustomed to other artists doing covers of your music. It’s their way of saying “We admire you and think you’re really really cool.”
But it’s something completely different when Aretha Franklin covers your work
The Queen of Soul is gearing up for the Oct. 21 release of her latest album “Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics.” which features covers from everyone including Gladys Knights “Midnight Train To Georgia,” Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman” and even Destiny’s Child ” Survivor.”
The R-E-S-P-E-C-T singer attacks ‘Rolling In The Deep” with her thunderous voice as she belts out Adele’s lyrics. Some of the album’s producers include Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Andre 3000 who’s riding high on the success of his latest film, Jimi: All Is By My Side.
