Auguster Alsina won’t let anything hold him back this time around. In a new trailer for his upcoming sophomore album, the singer addresses his detractors head on.
“They’d rather see me dead. They’d rather see me fail,” says August in his new album trailer. “They’d rather see me in jail.” But, he ends on a positive note, “You just gotta tell yourself, somehow I’m gonna make it.”
With guest features from Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, Anthony Hamilton and Chris Brown, August Alsina’s forthcoming This Thing Called Life album arrives in stores on December 11. Fans can pre-order the project at the singer’s official now.
