There were many fans of Nicki Minaj’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds from her Barbz to the Queens native herself. But one fellow rapper isn’t as thrilled as others.

Azealia Banks took to her Twitter account to share her sentiments on Minaj’s new statue. To what she deemed as “underhanded shade,” the “Ice Princess” lyricist is upset with Madame Tussauds for crafting Nicki’s likeness “bent over on all fours.”
“As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours… Why not standing up with a mic in her hand ???” she typed. She also fears that people who see the figure will just enact lewd gestures toward Nicki’s body parts. “All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt,” the Harlem native said.
Wow, they finally give nicki minaj a wax figure and it’s a statue of her bent over on all fours…… White people yo….

The sculpture was unveiled earlier this month which paid homage toward Minaj’s “Anaconda” video, which was snubbed by MTV for a Video of the Year nomination. Nicki voiced her opinion on this decision by the network, stating the reception of the Colin Tilley-directed visual and the creative adaptations of the single’s cover art were worthy of a VOTY nomination.

U couldn’t go on social media w/o seeing ppl doing the cover art, choreo, outfits for Halloween…an impact like that & no VOTY nomination?
