Following RZA’s revelation on the situation between Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe, the aforementioned rapper is still pressing charges against the Gladiator actor.
On Facebook, Banks shared that the way Crowe treated her at his Beverly Hills hotel event is unacceptable. “Regardless, you need to have the respect and decency to have someone properly escorted out,” Banks writes. “Grabbing them by the neck, calling them ni**er and tossing them out is not the look. NOR is spitting an acceptable form of self-defense.”
RZA did confirm that Crowe spat on the “Chasing Time ” artist, but added that Banks’ actions throughout the night were shameful. “There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest,” the Wu-Tang Clan member wrote on Facebook. RZA added that Banks physically threatened another woman and that’s when Crowe stepped in. “Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite,” he said.
He also recalled the story on TMZ, stating the he was taken aback by the ordeal.
Banks also expressed her disappointment in RZA not standing by her side, stating that since she’s in his forthcoming movie, Coco, he would’ve defended her in the matter. “But sometime, the OG’s are that starved for this played out illusion of being a part of the illuminati (or whatever the fu*k) that they will Sh*t where they eat,” she said. “Just to make sure they get to keep getting invited on boat parties and dumb sh*t.”
