“Bad And Boujee,” the number-one hit from the hip-hop supergroup Migos, has gone platinum. According to the RIAA, the track from the trio’s recent album Culture has sold one million units as of Jan. 23.
The song, featuring Lil Uzi Vert, has gained traction on social media and made it to mainstream consciousness after actor-musician Donald Glover shouted out the ATL-iens during his acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. It hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 on Jan. 9, and has shown no signs of slowing down since.
Culture, the second LP from Migos, dropped this past Friday (Jan. 27), and features 13 songs, including the aforementioned hit, as well as tracks featuring Travis Scott, Gucci Mane and DJ Khaled.
