After much speculation, DJ Nelson came through on his claim that Puerto Rico’s Bad Bunny linked with Drake to deliver an all-Spanish latin trap track, “MIA” on Thursday (Oct. 11).
The video features the two international stars vibing at what seems to be a poppin’ block party, keeping the vibe up with drinks, food and a game of dominoes. The collaboration has been teased for months now, beginning on Jan. 25, when the Puerto Rican star posted a snippet of the track on his Instagram account and tagged Drake in the caption.
Yesterday, Drake posted a few still shots from the music video on his socials, though he let fans speculate where the pictures were taken from.

Drake comes in hot on the 3-minute track, taking control of the first verse before Bad Bunny takes on a lengthy verse of his own. Nelson shared with VIBE VIVA in May how he was impressed with Drizzy’s Spanish melodies.
“I heard a lot of the album, they showed me the track and it was crazy,” he said. “I’m impressed with the Spanish. Their team is very ‘in it.’ They work a lot and I admire that team.”
This is the second time OVO fans have gotten the chance to hear the Toronto rapper spit a verse completely in Spanish, though it’s been a minute. For those who remember, Romeo Santos tapped Drake for “Odio” back in 2014– and it was wonderful.
