XO affiliate and Roc Nation signee, Belly is gearing up to release his fifth studio project since signing to Roc Nation in 2015, Immigrant.
On Wednesday (Oct. 10), two days before it’s Oct. 12 release, Belly took to Instagram to share the long-awaited track list for the album.
Featuring a slew of hip-hop giants, the 11-track LP is slated to feature Meek Mill, M.I.A., Yo Gotti, Metro Boomin, French Montana, The Weeknd, and Nav.
Though Belly has worked with a majority of these artists in the past, “Immigrant” Featuring Meek Mill and M.I.A. will set the Canadian rapper in a brand new territory, as he has yet to collab with either artist.
Early last month, Belly revealed the inspiration behind his album title. Pressed the broken politics that seems to be going on around him, Belly is here to speak his truth and publicize his belief that we are all immigrants.
Since the beginning of his career, Belly has adamantly voiced his concerns on immigration reform. In May 2016, Belly and fellow Canadian star, The Weeknd, canceled an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! due to the presence of Donald Trump.
Immigrant will be available on all streaming platforms Friday (Oct. 12)
