House duo Benoit & Sergio are planning a righteous return with their bountiful, New Ships EP, due out October 15th on Visionquest. After a busy year of touring the world, the electronic scions have created feel good songs sans pulling out all the major ‘synths’ and ‘drops’ that have become popular in today’s EDM umbrella mainstream.
The lead single titled, ‘Lipstick Lace’ boasts a melancholy feeling, with lyrics that speak to anyone walking into the unknown. Meanwhile, the other two tracks on the EP, “Not in Your Nature” and “New Ships” exude upbeat vibes and chords that will assuredly get any party started.
The EP is set to release on October 15, but you can check out some snippets of the lead track above.
