R&B lovers everywhere are in luck. Best Life Music Festival is premiering its first ever show in Miami this September. The festival is designed to give young R&B artists spotlight.
The line-up includes a bevy of fiercely talented singers like H.E.R, Ella Mai, Arin Ray, SNOH AALEGRA, and Tobi Lou among many others. “Looking to provide R&B lovers a one of kind music oasis,” states a press release. “In addition to creating a unique platform for creatives to showcase their talents in a live performance setting, some of the Sunshine State’s most respected entertainment entities have joined forces to deliver a brand new live series – appropriately tilted ‘Best Life.’”
It’s exciting to finally have a festival that caters specifically to R&B lovers everywhere. Not to mention H.E.R is having quite the year, she’s toured with Bryson Tiller and Chris Brown, and has just released her new project, I Used To Know Her: The Prelude EP.
“I love that I’ve grown into someone that is okay with being human,” H.E.R told VIBE. “I love that I’ve grown into someone that is honest and comfortable with myself. I think when I was younger, even though I was outspoken, I felt like I had to be perfect. I love that I’ve grown into someone who can celebrate my accomplishments and be happy no matter what the outcome may be. A lot of people take this stuff for granted and I’ve learned to celebrate. I’m in a very good place.”
