By now, you may have heard that Beyonce is pregnant with twins. Amidst the divine news, questions were also raised by fans and reporters about the musician’s headlining performance at the Coachella music festival in April; would she cancel now that she’s expecting?
TMZ reports that even if the Queen Bey pulls out of the music festival, she’ll still see a hefty paycheck regardless; they write that she could see $1 million or more.
Thanks to an insurance policy on the musicians performing at the event, even if Bey cancels, insurance will still cover her since she will be sidelined for “incapacitation.” Incapacitation includes pregnancy complications which could make her performance “risky.”
“Bey has not told the folks who produce the festival whether she’ll be able to headline during the April event,” the site reports. “It’s unclear how far along she is in her pregnancy, but it seems 4 to 5 months would not be an unreasonable guess, which would mean she could be at least 6 months pregnant when she’s scheduled to perform.”
While many fans are still hoping she’ll pull a “Live At Roseland” and perform at the highly-anticipated event while preggers, things will certainly be different this time around since there are two babies inside her, who will be getting ready for their debut within the next few months.
