It’s official: Beyonce has successfully infiltrated the country music genre. According to the singer’s BeyHive Twitter fan account, Queen Bey will reportedly be opening this year’s Country Music Awards on Nov. 2.
“The rumors are TRUE! Beyoncé & The Dixie Chicks are opening the 2016 Country Music Awards tonight,” TheBeyHiveTeam Twitter account announced. They don’t call her the queen for nothing.

It’s still unclear what material Beyonce will perform at the country awards show, but it is likely she will be taking something from her platinum-selling album Lemonade. Many tracks on the project serve as an exploration into the country genre, with twangy instrumentals and story-telling. But “Daddy Lessons” in particular, seems like the stand-out track to showcase at the star-studded event. Additionally, the Dixie Chicks previously covered the single during their summer tour, according to Us Weekly.
But this wouldn’t be the first time the Country Music Awards has mixed with musicians of other genres. During the 2015 show, the CMAs invited Justin Timberlake to the stage to perform a hit from his The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2.
The 2016 Country Music Awards will air on Wed. (Nov. 2), on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
