Beyonce brought her country lemonade over to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to perform her hit “Daddy Lessons” with the Dixie Chicks during the 2016 Country Music Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
In what the CMAs touted as “Country Music’s Biggest Night Ever,” the quartet did not disappoint for the show’s 50th annual show. In true Beyonce fashion, we got a full band and a little Texas two-steppin’ as the crowd clapped and cheered. Even Faith Hill was seen singing along to the tune. The starlet also stunned in a custom-made, crystal embellished outfit from the brand, DSQUARED.

While some country music fans were left with a sour taste upon hearing that the R&B singer would be performing at a country music event, country musicians like Kelsey Ballerini and Brad Paisley were all for the idea.
“Frequently, country crosses over. But every now & then a major pop superstar wants to be a part of this too. Welcome, Beyoncé,” wrote Paisley, who also hosted the event alongside Carrie Underwood.
Contrary to reports and tweets that the songstress would be opening the show, country musicians Merle Haggard, Ben Haggard, Brad Paisley, Roy Clark, Carrie Underwood, Reba and more sang a medley of famous country ditties to start off the telecast.
