It’s racks on racks on racks for Beyonce (who just announced yet another release) this year. Mrs. Carter sits comfortably atop Forbes’ Top-Earning Women In Music 2014 list, pulling in a whopping $115 million. Doubling her 2013 income of $53 million, the feat was largely attributed to her year-long Mrs. Carter World Tour. This is her second time topping a Forbes list this year.
“Beyoncé played 95 shows during our scoring period, bringing in an average $2.4 million per city, according to Pollstar,” Forbes reports. “She added endorsement deals from the likes of H&M and Pepsi —plus her self-titled surprise album, which hit iTunes in December 2013 and quickly became one of the year’s top sellers—to send her income into nine-figure territory.”
Trailing behind Queen Bey is Taylor Swift, who raked in a healthy $64 million. The rankings were calculated by earnings from June 2013 to June 2014.
