After receiving the CFDA’s Fashion Icon award earlier this week, Beyonce garnered even greater news on the music side. The Houstonian received the honor of having her sixth solo album, Lemonade, go platinum.

The visual album stopped the world yet again on April 23, and had her Beyhive buzzing with joy for their Queen’s unstoppable return to the music scene. Lemonade served as a delectable gumbo pot of genres from rock to country, boasting self-confidence lyrics to the journey to forgiveness.
The 12-track album featured The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and James Blake, plus production by Just Blaze, Hit-Boy, and Kevin Garrett. Bey didn’t waste any time given that the following week after the soundscape’s release, the “Formation” singer kicked off her tour alongside opener DJ Khaled and friends.
To date, Lemonade has reportedly sold over 1,054,000 copies stateside.
