For the five year anniversary of her “Let’s Move” initiative tackling childhood obesity, our FLOTUS is giving people a challenge that she hopes everyone, us regulars and celebrities, participate in.
“I’m going to ask folks from across the country to give me five. I want kids, parents, and maybe a few celebrities to give me five ways to be healthy,” said FLOTUS, “For example, they came give me five ways to be healthy, or five jumping jacks or push-ups, find a way to work five new healthy habits to work into their routine.” As an added co-sign, President Obama said, “Even I’ve got time for that.”
The First Lady continues by saying, “That’s the point. So, everybody, give me five. Tweet it, Vine it, Instagram it, Facebook it with the #givemefive. And then pass on the challenge to someone else.”
One of the first supporters of the Give Me Five challenge was Beyoncé, who has been a heavy backer of Mrs. Obama’s initiative when it first began. B contributed via Instagram where she showed five intense workouts that’ll get that body right and tight (yes, all in 15 seconds).
The First Lady even proved that she’s well-informed about the power of the Beygency.
