Beyoncé and her Parkwood team got in formation to help donate to the crisis in Flint, Mich.
The entertainment mogul used her Formation Tour ticket sales to help raise $82,234 for United Way of Genesee County, The Detroit News reports. The crisis in Flint surfaced back in April 2014, and residents are still dealing with the city’s lead-tainted water supply.
Not only did Beyoncé donate through ticket sales, she also helped 14 Detroit-area high school students by giving special college gifts to help with their educational expenses and a Formation ticket to her concert Tuesday night at Ford Field. It’s safe to say Queen Bey is the queen in more ways than one.
