From setting the internet ablaze this past weekend for dropping the video for “Formation,” and her epic performance at the Super Bowl to announcing her next world tour—Beyonce is winning, and she isn’t done. Now, Red Lobster has announced that they saw a hike in sales over 33 percent since Sunday, because of the shout out they got from Bey on “Formation,” according to CNN.
Bey rapping: “When he f**k me good I take his ass to Red Lobster, cause I slay,” served as an accidentally stellar marketing campaign for the seafood chain. In addition to their massive sales, the restaurant also garnered more than 42,000 mentions on Twitter and for the first time in history, became a trending topic.
Who knew Beyonce’s mention would bring Red Lobster so much profit? It’d be cool if they made “Cheedar Bey Biscuits” an actual thing.
“Cheddar Bey Biscuits” has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? #Formation @Beyonce pic.twitter.com/QzgVtYAKNo
