It’s no secret that Beyonce lives a healthy lifestyle. She announced a 22-day vegan meal plan a year ago, and now in 2016, the Lemonade artist is setting her sights on the fitness beverage industry.
The “All Night” singer teamed up with WTRMLN WTR, a company that boasts the mission of educating consumers about nutritional facts with every sip to help promote life-altering eating decisions, and spread the importance of living a fit life with those in need across the globe.
“I invested in WTRMLN WTR because it’s the future of clean, natural hydration; as partners, we share a simple mission to deliver accessible wellness to the world,” Beyonce said in a press release. “This is more than an investment in a brand, it’s an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers, and the health of people and our planet.”
WTRMLN WTR is also geared towards fitness junkies who are adamant about educating others on eating and drinking clean nutriments. The beverage’s ingredients include organic lemon, watermelon rind and watermelon flesh.
“Beyoncé’s partnership and investment brings energy and purpose to our mission to help educate consumers about clean, healthy hydration for active lives,” states co-founder Jody Levy. “With all the functional and nutritional values, fitness trainers, pro athletes, and health conscious consumers are increasingly turning to WTRMLN WTR, especially at that critical point of sweat. It is this connection to fitness, the mission of the Company, and a compassionate approach to business that inspired Beyoncé’s involvement.”
WTRMLN WTR is available at Kroger, Costco, Safeway, Whole Foods and other grocery outlets as well as Amazon.com.
