Bhad Bhabie is commenting on the controversial comments uttered by Jermaine Dupri.
A cluster of female rappers from Cardi B, to Rapsody, to Doja Cat commented on the above sentiments, stating that there are many female rappers who don’t rap about their bodies. The latest voice to chime in is none other than the young Floridian.
In a now-deleted Instagram Story post, the 16-year-old wrote, “Jermaine Dupri can suck my d**k. Been like 10 years since bow wow. Sit down grandpa.”
Last week, the producer and artist was asked by People about the latest wave of female rappers taking over the charts. He stated that while he appreciates them, he believes they’re “all rapping about the same thing.”
“I don’t think they’re showing us who’s the best rapper,” he said. “For me, it’s like strippers rapping. As far as rap goes, I’m not getting who is the best rapper.” In a video, Cardi stated the reason why she raps about her body, and then praised artists like Tierra Whack, Kamaiyah and CHIKA for bringing something different to the game.
