Newcomer Bobby Sessions may not be on your playlist. But he will be soon–especially you’re into issues affecting the black community.
The Def Jam signee came through today (July 20) with his new EP RVLTN (Chapter 1): The Divided States of AmeriKKKa. The pro-black effort touches on racism, black-on-black crime, police brutality, and other issues.
The lyrically sharp MC doesn’t bite his tongue either. With songs like “Politics,” “Unchained!,” and “Black Neighborhood,” the Texas native is prone to spark fresh revolutionary minds to get their hands dirty with grass-roots organization.
RVLTN (Chapter 1): The Divided States of AmeriKKKa is the follow up to Bobby’s 2017 EP Grateful. Be on the lookout for his full-length debut in the near future, too.
