Bobby Shmurda will finally get his day in court.
In a hearing Wednesday (April 22) at Manhattan Supreme Court, The “Hot N***a” rapper and Rowdy Rebel learned their trial will begin June 25. The two, along with about a dozen other GS-9 members, were arrested last December on an array of charges, including weapons, drugs, conspiracy and murder charges, according to XXL.
Because there isn’t a courtroom large enough to fit all the defendants named on the indictment, it will most likely be broken up. Shmurda and Rebel’s lawyers Kenneth Montgomery and Javier Solano, respectively ask that their clients case been seen first.
Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, along with Rebel and the rest of the GS-9 members arrested are all being held in Rikers Island on $2 Million bail a piece.
All anyone can do at this point is wait.
