The Internet wins again with its latest Twitter challenge. After Shad Moss was exposed as a fake stunter for posting a stock photo of a private jet on Instagram when he was really flying on a commercial plane, Twitter wasn’t ready to let the former child star rest. Instead, the rapper’s epic fail launched the #BowWowChallenge, calling on fans to “fake it like Bow Wow and tweet like a millionaire.”
There are some talented graphic designers on Twitter. While some trolls simply posted pics of them riding in a nice car adjacent to another image of them actually riding the bus, the challenge also brought out a number of Photoshop pros and photographers who played with angles and close ups.
The #BowWowChallenge was launched shortly after Charlamagne Tha God awarded Shad the Donkey of the Day on The Breakfast Club for his juvenile antics. Charlamagne also dubbed this period in time, “trans Bow Wow.” “Shad Moss is a devil damn liar. When will you fools realize there is no future in frontin’,” he said.
Bow Wow addressed the controversy late on Tuesday, accusing people of hating on him and trying to bring negativity to his circle. He may not have room for the jokes, but Twitter surely does. Check out the best of the #BowWowChallenge below.
