As fans get their fits ready for B2K’s upcoming reunion tour, curiosity about other acts has rightfully happened. One in particular happens to be Bow Wow, who shared why he isn’t on the very throwback lineup.
In a statement to The Shade Room, the rapper stated most of the acts on the Millennium Tour like Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd and Bobby V are rooted in R&B, making him not the best fit for the tour.
“I mean its all R&B acts,” he said Friday (Dec. 21). “I think it’s dope if it’s true that O & them back but it’s an all R&B tour. I wish them the best, [this] should bring back memories. It’s good to see folks still working and people DO want to hear that good classic R&B music! It’s a W.”

Bow Wow’s popularity aligned with B2K’s in the early aughts, with the guys being featured in the pages of Word Up! and Right On! magazines (R.I.P.) in addition to the infamous Scream Tours. Omarion’s solo career also included a collaborative album with Mr. Moss titled Face Off in 2007 after they found success on their previous single “Let Me Hold You” in 2005.
Perhaps Bow Wow might surprise fans with a few appearances on the tour. Fans are also hoping other notable acts from that very special time will hit the stage like Sammie.
Tickets for the tour are expected to be on sale in January.
