Say bonjour to Bromance as it makes its way across the Atlantic to expand its label with an American chapter, Bromance US. A label founded by Parisian DJ-producer Brodinski and Manu Barron, the record label boasts a unique artistic direction that has shared experienced with the team behind Skrillex’s OWSLA, who is also a partner in the new project.
“We’ve had in mind to build a proper team in the US to help us for such a long time,” said Brodinksi. “Manu was working on other stuff with the OSWLA fellas at that time, and one night we all had dinner, nothing pro, just a huge friendly dinner. When we sat down later with Manu and the crew to talk about opening a new office / antenna out there, it goes without saying that it felt like something pretty obvious: they were our guys, the right team, the American extension of the family.”
The premiere release from the Bromance extension will be the debut concept album, History of Man, from Toronto-based progressive producer Illangelo, which is scheduled to drop August 20. In the meantime, get a taste of what the ‘bros’ will be brining across the seas with Brodinski’s latest mixtape, ‘The Purple Ride.”
