Get your masks and beads ready, because it’s definitely going to be a festive Mardi Gras in in New Orleans this year. The BUKU Music and Art Project is back with its fifth installment it has announced the talent for its March event.
The BUKU fest is essentially the house-party everyone wants to get invited to, celebrating the intersection of pop culture, art, and the essence of true New Orleans culture. On the music end, past performances have included A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas. And on the art-tip, the two-day event has featured artists from major cities such as Los Angeles and New York.
This year, BUKU is taking the “house party” to the next level and is enlisting a couple of big names to get it there. Headliners for the show include Kid Cudi and Future. And in light of the Grammy’s, Buku has cast nominees Fetty Wap and Kehlani to bless the New Orleans stage. As if that isn’t enough, additional acts include A$AP Ferg, Earl Sweatshirt, Post Malone, Casey Veggies and Cashmere Cat.
Two nights of madness can’t come without a price, though. General admission for the two-day pass is running for around $189.50, with the VIP ticketing running for a steeper price. There are also travel packages and deals for those jet-setters. For more details concerning the festival, you can go here. The advance tickets have already sold out, so think quick or you might miss out.
